Elegant Layers & Thoughtful Words | Featuring the Beautiful Gallery Suite
There’s something deeply soothing about painting with paper—layering textures, tones, and tiny details until a card feels like a work of art. Today’s creation is just that. Using the Beautiful Gallery Suite, I crafted this greeting card with soft, moody florals and a layered design that feels timeless and comforting. 💌 Front & Center: The front of the card features a painterly floral background paired with a creative corner fold technique—perfect for spotlighting a sentiment. I used the “HELLO” greeting embossed in white on black cardstock to contrast the dreamy rose tones. A double ribbon accent (a soft cream ribbon layered with linen thread) adds movement and softness. A few…

There Is Hope: A Handmade Reminder When It Matters Most
Some cards are more than just paper and ink—they’re lifelines in an envelope. Today, I’m sharing a pair of cards that came straight from the heart, created with the hope that they might one day land in someone’s hands right when they need it most. This card feature the beautifully detailed Delicate Forest Dies—a favorite that’s sadly retiring. I couldn’t let them go without one more walk through the woods. I used these dies to frame a peaceful forest silhouette that opens up to a blended sunset background. With blending brushes and a mix of ink colors (including Crushed Curry, Fresh Freesia, and Starry Sky), I layered a soft transition…

Enduring Beauty – Last Chance
This is the last week of April, and next week the new catalog will be available to shop. So this week there won’t be a Card-Kit-To-Go. I will be posting cards I’ve made this past year with Last Chance items from the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog. I will be back next week with a new Card Kit, with new product! Today’s card was made with the Enduring Beauty stamps, dies, and mask. This was one of the first cards I made with my starter kit. This was my first card using the masks. I love how easy it is to create lovely cards with color and depth. Enduring Beauty is definitely…

Everyday Happiness Card Inspiration – Featuring Layers, Texture, and Floral Magic
Today’s card project is all about layers, textures, and a little bit of Everyday Happiness! For this design, I used the Everyday Happiness Designer Series Paper (DSP) to create a trio of vertical panels—each one showing off a different pattern and color story that ties together beautifully. I love how this paper brings such a soft, yet fresh vibe to the card. The background panel features the Mini Corrugated Embossing Folder, which adds that lovely dimensional texture. It reminds me of vintage cardboard or worn journal pages—perfect for a bit of tactile interest! The florals on the front were stamped and die cut using the Everyday You & Me stamp…
