Everyday Happiness Card Inspiration – Featuring Layers, Texture, and Floral Magic
Today’s card project is all about layers, textures, and a little bit of Everyday Happiness!
For this design, I used the Everyday Happiness Designer Series Paper (DSP) to create a trio of vertical panels—each one showing off a different pattern and color story that ties together beautifully. I love how this paper brings such a soft, yet fresh vibe to the card.
The background panel features the Mini Corrugated Embossing Folder, which adds that lovely dimensional texture. It reminds me of vintage cardboard or worn journal pages—perfect for a bit of tactile interest!
The florals on the front were stamped and die cut using the Everyday You & Me stamp and die bundle. These roses have a layered watercolor look that’s both dreamy and grounded. I added a bit of natural twine to wrap it all together and placed a few Brushed Brass Butterflies for a final touch of sparkle.
Inside the card, I kept things simple but meaningful, using a sentiment from the Mixed Labels stamp set—because the inside deserves love too!
Whether you’re crafting for connection, healing, or simply a moment of creative joy, this card is a beautiful reminder of how powerful paper crafting can be.
