Throwback Thursday: Handmade Candles
🕯️ Throwback Thursday: Handmade Candles from 2009 🕯️Crafted with love, warmth, and a little heat tool magic Today, I’m taking a little stroll down memory lane to 2009 — back when printed graphics on tissue paper, wax paper, and a heat tool were my crafting trifecta! These festive candles were some of my favorite projects to make during the fall and holiday seasons. Each design was printed onto tissue paper, wrapped around a plain candle with wax paper, and gently set with a heat tool until the design melted into the wax. Like magic, they transformed into seasonal treasures. The graphics I used came from a wonderful site called pcCrafter,…

🎃 What Are You Working On Wednesday? 🎃
It’s Wednesday, and that means I get to check in with you—my favorite crafty crew! This week, I’ve been playing with the Sweet & Spooky kit from Stampin’ Up!, and let me tell you… it’s a total treat. 🍬👻 These little Halloween treat boxes are adorable, easy to assemble, and the perfect way to ease into the spooky season without going full ghoul just yet. Whether you love cute pumpkins, friendly ghosts, or stars and bats—this kit has it all. 🧡 I had so much fun mixing and matching the pieces—especially the holographic ghosts and glittery bats! The little haunted house box might be my favorite. How cute would these…

🖍 Back to School, Back to Crafting — August with Celestial Wolf Paper Crafts 🌙
Can you feel it? There’s a subtle shift in the air — a soft whisper of routine returning, notebooks being cracked open, and planners filling up. It’s back-to-school season here in Wyoming, and while the days are still warm, there’s no denying that summer is starting to fade. I had a beautiful summer filled with adventure, inspiration, and creative play — including some time away to float the river and recharge. But now… now I feel that magical pull toward the “-ber” months. 🍂 This is the time of year I get giddy — because crafting season is about to begin in full force. ✨ Big News: Monthly Card Kits…

Taking a Pause, Floating Forward, and Crafting Through Christmas in July
Hello creative souls! You may have noticed it’s been a little quiet around here the past couple of weeks. Life at the college kept me extra busy earlier this month, and I followed that stretch with something I’ve really needed—some genuine, soul-refreshing rest. 💆♀️💫 I had the chance to float peacefully down the river, letting the current carry away all the noise and to-do lists. The sun peeked through the clouds in the most magical way, and I let myself simply be for a little while. It reminded me that stillness is often the first step back into creativity. Now I’m back in my studio, and you know what that…

🌸 Handcrafted Beauty Inspired by a Sketch | Happy Birthday Card
Sometimes, inspiration comes at just the right time—and this card was born from a sketch challenge shared by A Cherry on Top. I love how sketches can act as a creative springboard while still allowing for complete artistic freedom. This soft and floral birthday card is the perfect example of mixing structure with soul. ✨ The Inspiration: A Cherry on Top Sketch Challenge This week, I took on a card sketch challenge from the lovely community at A Cherry on Top. Sketches are a great way to break through creative blocks or experiment with new layouts, and this one was no exception! It encouraged layers, texture, and a focal…

⏩Throwback Thursday ⏪
One of my favorite craft projects. It’s an address book, birthday keeper, and card holder. The Months/birthdays are printed on an 8-3/4″ X 5-3/4″ envelope (big enough to keep the A2 size cards). The address pages are printed on cardstock. I laminated the front and back covers, and then spiral bound the book. I made a couple of these for other people. I hope they are still using theirs. ☺️ The graphics used for the project are from a site that is actually still in business. Helena Normark at Art 4 Crafts. She does both web graphics and printable clipart. She even featured me in her photo gallery. Oh the memories.…
